Large Custom Speaker Stands

I just delivered a nice pair of custom made speaker stands to a client. These had to be seriously sturdy, due to the weight of the speakers, and needed castors to allow them to be moved about. So they were made with 18mm birch plywood, with internal strengthening. The client wanted a black speaker grill on the front (which I think worked well) and they were finished in black satin with a top coat of water based varnish to give them a good protective layer.

After the initial design phase, I made some parts on the CNC and then assembled and finished in my workshop in Cornwall.
