So this was an interesting one. The client wanted some fairly heavy duty speaker stands to be moveable – but not permanently. So the solution was to create some matching trolleys with castors so that the speakers can be moved about, but optionally taken off the trolleys once in place.

I decided to make use of my CNC to make the trolleys as I wanted to ensure the feet of the speakers had an indent on the stands to drop into. This meant creating a set of 4 round indents on the top of each trolley. It also ensured that they would be perfectly positioned (assuming I got my drawings and cutting paths correct!).
