I’ve not done one of these Guitar Amp Kickback Stands before, but it’s been on my lisy for some time!

• Included “Pedalboard” space

This was actually my first guitar amp stand design. I’ve updated it a bit recently, and created some visualisations. Again, when I get the time, I’ll make a prototype, but in the meantime, if this something you might be interested in – just reach out. mike@homestudiorack.co.uk

OK I admit I seem to be spending more time on the computer than in the workshop at the moment, but I guess this is when ideas get tried, refined, distilled, and potentially turned into one or more prototypes.

This was an idea for a guitar amp stand I needed, and wanted to make it:

• Asthetically pleasing
• Easy to assemble
• Optional castors
• Flexible in width
• Sturdy
• Lightweight?
• Easy to manufacture

OK, this is not the final design, but it’s a starting point for my amp stand, and it kind-of goes with the guitar stand I was designing recently (make a matching pair?) .

I had also considered if I should make it a little higher – and have space for a small pedalboard that slides in somehow? Maybe that’s version 2. 🙂

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome!
